My roommate has been getting fairly serious about photography lately and just recently decided to shell out the big bucks for this remarkable digital camera from Nikon. We have been testing this device out for the past couple of days and I can honestly say that I am very impressed by this cameras' performance and the sheer number of features that it is equipped with.
This camera is very similar to the Nikon N80 camera which I also own and wrote an earlier review about. That camera is a great find as well and is one of the top sellers in the non-digital variety.
The first of the great features that this digital camera from Nikon offers is a clear LCD display which allows the photographer to take a glimpse of the picture just taken. This also allows for any adjustments that need to be made. This is truly a great feature for those who are often unsatisfied with their first effort and feel that a better picture can be attained.
The second great feature that this camera possesses is the fact that it is able to take pictures continuously and is able to store up to 20 shots in this manner. This is great for photographers who want to get the feel of live action in their shots. This feature almost resembles the capabilities of a movie camera and is able to shoot up to four and a half shots per second.
Finally it is important to mention the quality of the pictures that will turn out from the camera. I have noticed that the shots are some of the sharpest and most crisp that I have ever seen. My roommate nor I have been disappointed with any of our early results.
All in all, I feel that this is best digital camera I have seen or used. It is very expensive and somewhat heavy; however, if you want professional quality photographs then this just might be the camera for you.
