Pros: These Wipes are really nice and very easy to use.
Cons: I have found no problems with at all.
The Bottom Line: Windex makes a variety of products for the home and car.

When I was a child I hated to wash windows. As an adult I hate to wash windows. That is what my kids are for. NOT! Getting them to wash windows is like pulling teeth. When I worked my job description did not include washing windows and when I got married I protested against the chore. I told my husband I don’t iron and I don’t do windows but if you still want me then we can over look those items! Well, he must have agreed since we are still married!
Now, mind you, when the windows do get washed I do them or he does them and on rare occasions the children will do them. But for the most part I do them. The problem with that now is my health. Due to the FMS the strength in my arms and hands has decreased terribly and so doing household chores is becoming a huge chore. I certainly look for items that will help my job to be easier.
I have found such a product and am so glad that it has now come out on the market. While shopping in my local Winn Dixie last week, down the cleaning products aisle, I saw a “New Item” sign pop out at me! Of course I stopped to look at it. And of course I bought it to try. And of course I am glad that I did.
The Product
Windex™ Wipes Glass and Surface made by Johnson® is a new window cleaner for a streak free shine throughout the home. I can say that this is true. The only thing I have found is the little lint fuzzy things left behind, but found they will wipe right off with no problems. You can use on the mirrors and all windows. You can also use on appliances as well as the counter tops and the stove, dishwasher and oven doors.
The cloths are white and soft to the touch. The famous Windex™ clean smell is noticeable, letting me know that the product will work. The cloths are about the size of a normal washcloth.
The package is a blue, soft plastic that has a resealable seal that you pull up, which allows easy access to the wipe. Of course the Windex™ name is stamped across the top and the package is not hard to spot either. I have found that this seal works great not allowing air in to dry out the wipes.
The price is $2.99 per 25 wipes.
Other Stuff To Know
You should not use on glass surfaces that are in direct sunlight or on babies or for personal hygiene.
You should make sure that the pouch is sealed correctly at all times to insure the wipes do not dry out.
You should also unplug any electric appliances before using this wipe on them. And you should keep out of reach of small children.
Not for use on wood surfaces, food cooking utensils, plates, glasses, tinted windows in cars/trucks, or upholstery. And before using on an unknown surface you should check and inconspicuous place on that surface first to make sure any paints, stains, etc. do not come off.
The ingredients are: ammonium hydroxide.

How I Feel
I love these Windex™ Wipes! In my book they are just as good as baby wipes, but of course on a different type structures. I guess what I really mean is that they are just as convenient as baby wipes.
Of course I still have the liquid glass cleaner and have found that I can use the wipes with the liquid stuff. I simply just squirt a little liquid glass cleaner on that stubborn, hard to remove stain and continue using the wipe. In doing so I have found that the wipes are pretty strong and do not tear easily. Also, using alone on the windows and other items in the home they are durable, strong and does not leave streaks. This I really like. There is nothing harsher in life than streaked mirrors or pieces of glass or appliances.
The package is small enough that I can put one in the car and take with me to clean those soda sprays that get all over the windows when my son opens his up. Somehow he always manages to get soda on the glass. Now I can give him a Windex™ Wipe and he can clean it off. Life is good!
I have found that these Windex™ Wipes are very handy in the bathroom as well. I use them for cleaning the outside of the commode and tub and shower areas.
I highly recommend these wipes!
