Pros: Pretty good suction power. More Pro's listed below
Cons: No Bag Full light. More Con's listed below
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this vacuum to people who don't have multiple pets to clean up after. This vacuum would do extremely well for moderate cleaning.

Pros: It does a pretty good job of picking up very small particals. I have a 2-year-old son, 2 black labs and a cat and after I vacuum, I cannot see any hair on the floor.
Cons: The bags are expensive. For 10 bags it's $20.00 or so. Does not work well AT ALL on bare floors. It just flings the dirt all over. It does not have manual height adjustment for the floors; it does it automatically so you can't get the deep down dirt. Does not have a "Bag Full" Light, which I didn't think was a bad thing, but have found out that you have to constantly check the bag to see if it's full.
Durability: Very durable. The poor vacuum has been banged into furniture, tipped over, etc. This machine gets an A for this category
Attachments included: Upholstery brush, crevice tool, and Extension wand. You can purchase the 15 ft extension hose, but this cost me an add'l $18.00, it was not included.
Ease of Use: I found this vacuum very easy to use. It maneuvers very well and is not too heavy - I would say it's about 15 pounds. The only part I found difficult, (extremely) is trying to get at the filters to clean them out. They have to be cleaned about twice a year by running them under tap water, according to what the dealer told me. One of them is very easy to access, but the other one you basically have to rip the vacuum apart to get at it.
I bought the vacuum at a specialty shop, which is the only place I've ever seen this brand (I've never seen the brand at Wal-Mart or Target). I had a dirt devil vacuum before this one and it was so loud that I hated to use it because my son was an infant and the dirt devil woke him up! I went to the specialty shop and the guy demonstrated the 3 different Simplicities they had. This one was the cheapest, which was $250.00, but it was quiet, had on-board attachments, and there was an extension hose available which was a plus in my book. It also had a filtration unit that the dealer said would be good for allergies.
It has done a pretty good job for me. However, (there's always a bad point isn't there?!) I had the vacuum for 7 months and the motor blew up. The vacuum was still under warranty so the dealer replaced the motor for free. I was afraid that I blew up the motor because of the amount of dog hair that I vacuumed and the dealer said the motor was clearly defective.
In addition, about a month ago, I thought the motor was shot again, but my boyfriend tore it apart and discovered it was plugged with dog hair. The dealer told me that the vacuum could handle excessive dog hair (from 2 black labs), so my thought is that it should not plug up! One of the reasons I purchased this vacuum is the dealer told me "the vacuum will have no problem with the dog hair", however it apparently cannot handle excessive amounts. I am very careful to change the bags when they are full, so there really shouldn't have been an issue with the machine plugging up.
If you were thinking about buying a vacuum, I would consider this one only if you have moderately (or less) dirty floors to clean. This will reduce the risk of it plugging up (in my opinion at least).
It has served me well despite the couple drawbacks and has been worth the money. However, I am currently looking for a bagless vacuum so I can empty the chamber after each cleaning to reduce the possibility of the machine plugging up.
