Too many complications!

Pros: Nice phones.
Cons: Terrible customer service. Too many hidden charges that are not mentioned.
The Bottom Line: If you really need a cell phone, go anywhere but AT&T!!!

I recently signed up with AT&T not more than a month ago, and I already returned my phone and cancelled my plan!
The sales representative and customer service totally misinformed me on the phone plans, the activation charges, and the cell phone price.
To top that off, I received my monthly bill two weeks after I signed up with my plan charging me for every phone call I made, and for an Internet plan that supposedly was for free.
Another thing, when they tell you that there is a 30 day trial period and you get a full refund, don't believe them. They will still charge you for the usage of the phone line that you are using at a pro-rate, which to them is a percentage of the monthly plan. (ie. If your plan is $34.99 a month, and you use it for a quarter of the month, they will charge you for a quarter of $34.99).
Their coverage area is just the same as Cingular's. I had my Cingular phone line still active while I had my AT&T phone and both phones would lose reception at certain locations that were expected to lose reception. At times the lines are fuzzy and distorted.
Their plans are somewhat better than phone plans that are currently out right now, but with all the hassle they put me through, and with all the false information they gave me, this is not a wireless company that I would want to stay in business with!!!!!
