Pros: Very entertaining.
Cons: None that I can see.
The Bottom Line: Out of the 40 or so games we've bought, it's in the top 5.

We recently received the Lego Racers with our new Dell in a package of software. I had not seen the game previously and didn't know much about it. After loading it up and trying it out I found out it was definately worth the money.
System requirements on this game are: Windows 95/98 (I have XP and it runs great too), Pentium II processor, 64 MB RAM, 430 MB of hard disk space, 4 x CD-ROM, 16 MB direct 3D compatible video card, directX 8.0a - included on disc.
We have three kids ages 12, 10 and 7 and all three of them enjoy the game and so do my husband and I. I would have to say that our 7 year old enjoys it the most though. He can hardly be pried away long enough for me to check out my new Dell.
The game itself has wonderful and entertaining graphics of lego people and vehicles as well as lego scenery of trees and houses. It is very easy to navigate and set up races. My 7 year old has no trouble at all setting up a race, picking his vehicle and entering his name.
There are many different races tracks to choose from and there is even an adventure choice where you drive around and ask lego people to race you. As you win enough races you get to move up levels to the top level. You can just do regular races though if you don't want to do an adventure. My son likes both options equally well.
Another cute feature is if you bump things while racing you lose lego pieces off of your car. You can get them back by going over bubbles with legos in them. Your car does start driving slower the more pieces you lose.
All in all a wonderful computer game that is great for all ages. If I had to narrow the ages down I would say it is perfect for the age group of 6 to 9. Hope you enjoy the game!
