| jaguar849's Full Review: Nextel i1000 |
My job requires me to carry a Nextel phone, so that I can keep in constant contact with others in the workplace. When i received my first Nextel it was big and bulky. I decided to go purchase a smaller more compact one for myself.
When using cellular or digital phones I have always had very good luck with Motorola brand phones, that is why I was very excited when I found the I1000 phone. Here are the attributes that made me choose the phone; small, light weight, compact, durable, location of the volume buttons on the side of the phone.
Within the first week of having the phone I realized that one nightly charge at home would not be enough to last me throughout the day (I use the phone a lot). I immediately went and purchased a car charger for the phone. The battery life on this phone is only about 3+ hours with high usage. This unfortunately causes me to dislike the phone quite a bit because it is on the charger more often than not.
Other features of the phone are:
an easy to navigate menu
easy to read buttons
easy internet access and navigation
antennae that actually improves reception
flip top cover (so you do not accidentally dial China)
somewhat clear conversation ability
Now.... if we could only get Nextel service and pricing to improve.
Recommended:
Yes
Amount Paid (US$): 75.00
