Cons: Operation is apparently run by a pack of defrauders and thieves
The Bottom Line: When a company knowingly allow thefts to innocent parties to continue unabated, why would you choose to do business with them?

| victimized's Full Review: General Reviews of Cricket Communications Wireless... |
We live in Virginia, which does not even have Cricket service. Further, we have a cell phone with a different company. Imagine our surprise, then, when a charge for $226 to Cricket turned up on our credit card bill. We tried to call the number on the bill, which it turns out is not toll-free. So you get to pay for the privilege of sitting on hold for a good 20 minutes until you finally get a message saying they are too busy to talk to you and they will call you back "in 24 hours."
They do call back; that's about all they do right.
When they finally got back to us, we were informed that they wouldn't tell us who had the number, they wouldn't delete the account or stop our card from being used on the account and that by going through our credit company instead of getting a credit from them, they can't act. So we would have to call again next month to start the process all over again if there is another charge.
A quote from the conversation:
Us: "So, you know somebody is robbing me, and you won't stop them, and you won't tell me who it is?"
Cricket: "Yes."
From the other reviews I have read about this company, it sounds like the only way to deal with them is to do what someone did to us; steal a credit card number and nail that person with the bill for shoddy service on all fronts. If they are this remiss in customer service in cases that are flat-out illegal like this one, I hate to think what they are doing with the people who have given them information and money for a real account!
