HP LaserJet Print to Mail
The LaserJet 4100N is my wife’s printer at work and to go with it they have a HP LaserJet Print to Mail which is almost the same size as the printer and it is connected together with the printer. It looks like two printers together, this makes for one large printer.
The reason they use both together is to print the letters fast and then the HP LaserJet Print to Mail folds the letter into 3 folds so it is ready to pickup and stick in an envelope.
Now the printer alone is rated at 25 pages per minute to print, so I had my wife print up 50 letters that she needed and timed them. It was impressive, it took about 10 seconds to start printing and then I counted 23 printed and folded in one minute.
Folding the letters is the only purpose that they use the HP LaserJet Print to Mail it also has other uses like printing checks and printing postage.
The Cost
The LaserJet 4100N alone retails for $1549 I found it for a little over $1400 on the Internet.
My wife’s work paid $3400 which include the HP LaserJet Print to Mail, the 500 sheet paper feeder, 256 MB of memory and on site setup & service.
Overall
The Hewlett-Packard LaserJet 4100N is a fast laser printer and rather quiet as it is printing. The quality of the printing is excellent.
My wife also printed up a scanned photo of our cat and it was beautiful in the different shades that the monochrome will produce. Bottom Line is it prints excellent black & white graphics.
The cost of this printer is a little high for the homeowner but for the business side it produces fast high quality printing.
It is a large and heavy printer weighing in at 53 pounds and measures 15.4 inches high, 13.6 inches wide and 19.9 inches deep
The HP LaserJet 4100N comes with a one year warranty.
