The Bottom Line: Do not get a loan on a doghouse from them, you will regret it....

I have never had a problem with a mortgage company and HAD excellent credit. I am not too sure now as GMAC has filed against my credit twice and put the loan in default. I made the original payments on time. I had my identity stolen and stopped bank drafts. The bank stopped them for 2 months previous which I was not notified. I saw it on my bill and called, made a payment which they took and said the bank reversed that one also. The bank said they never received a debit. 12 days later, I get a letter the loan is in default. Called again to make a payment, was told my credit would be ammended with a letter from the bank-that was a lie-faxed it talked to someone who said they got it and it would be corrected in 3 days, poof the letter vanished and I was told it was my fault, too bad. So, I again tried to make the payment, get the situation resolved, after 3 hours, I had talked to 9 people 9in loan servicing and customer service and still could not make a payment. It was like they were trying to get the loan to default. They were very rude and a supervisor was NEVER available. I also got a message that said everyone was in a group meeting and the person I talked to said I was lying. Never in my life have I had this experience. I am getting out of this loan even if I have to sell everything!
