My Experience
When it comes to dishwashing liquids, I am always looking to try new brands to find the perfect dish liquid. I like thick dishwashing liquids that can stand up to grease and grime. Palmolive Oxy Plus Dishwashing Liquid, Alpine Purity does an excellent job!
Palmolive Oxy Plus Dishwashing Liquid, Alpine Purity has a nice, thick consistency. It isn't super thick in that it is difficult to get out of the bottle, but it is definitely thicker than the usual dishwashing liquids. The Alpine Purity has a fresh, clean scent to it which I like. I thought the dishwashing liquid would be blue (because of the color of the bottle) but it turns out it is clear.
At home, I pour the dishwashing liquid into a different container. The other container has a pump dispenser and a stable base, which makes it easier for me to dispense the liquid. I don't like having to grab the Palmolive bottle and inverting it every time I require a bit of dishwashing liquid.
I only use a small amount of the dishwashing liquid when washing a meal's dishes as a little of the liquid goes a long way. I like that the liquid suds up quickly and produces copious amounts of cleaning bubbles. The suds work well in removing grease and grime off of dishes and they last a long while. Often half a pump is sufficient to clean the entire meal's dishes. I like that the suds are long lasting as it saves on dishwashing liquid. For super stuck-on food like stuff that was baked in the oven, I often let the dish soak with a small amount of the Palmolive. The next day, removing the stuck-on food is simple.
After using Palmolive Oxy Plus Dishwashing Liquid, Alpine Purity, dishes and glasses are spotless when they are rinsed. There is no filmy residue or spots left on the dishes. I haven't noticed that the dishwashing liquid dries my hands out more than others; I think the warm water is the main culprit for my occasional dry hands!
My only suggestion for improvement for the dishwashing liquid is a new container that has a pump. That would make dispensing the liquid much easier.
Overall Thoughts
Palmolive Oxy Plus Dishwashing Liquid, Alpine Purity is my favorite dishwashing liquid! It has a thick consistency, performs well, and leaves dishes clean!
