I wish I'd read these reviews before using Mags on the Net. This was the singular most frustrating business experience I had ever gone through.
2/13/06 placed an order for People and US magazines, $126.90.
5/27/06 after 12 weeks filled out email form asking about status of order.
6/13/06 received email from Mags on the Net saying they had sent me an email in April (what a lie) saying all February internet orders for People and US magazines had been 'lost.' They resubmitted my order (supposedly) but still could not give me a start date for the magazines.
9/13/06 after 12 weeks filled out email form again. I continued filling out the email form weekly until 10/13/06. Also tried calling customer service number which directed me to the website to fill out the customer service form. Talk about a runaround...
WHAT FINALLY WORKED FOR ME WAS USING MY FAX.
I faxed a letter to 866-289-6249. This fax number is listed on their website and is supposed to be used for people looking to place an order. So I faxed a document listing all my info (same as the email form) and attached a cover sheet saying 'forward this to customer service.'
11/3/06 received a partial rebate $93.95 (out of $126.90 total). How they arrived at this total is anyone's guess.
11/4/06 - Jan 2007 Continued faxing and using email form to try to obtain the rest of my refund.
2/12/07 FINALLY received remainer of rebate $32.95.
It took almost 1 year to the day to receive my rebate in full. To anyone trying to get your money back - Don't give up, eventually they will refund it just takes forever and a day.
By the way, I never received any sort of email from Mags on the Net when the refunds were applied to my account. All of a sudden like magic the refund would appear on my online banking statement so keep close tabs...
