Pros: nice size sheets, strong/did not break in dryer
Cons: smell
The Bottom Line: The pre-dryer scent was enough to kill me and the post-dryer scent was unfulfilling. I’ll stick with my Bounce Free sheets.

I have used Bounce dryer sheets for years, something I no doubt picked up from my mom. They are great, leaving your laundry smelling nice and feeling soft, and they do not break up in the dryer. So, when I was asked to try out this new product, Bounce with Frebreze Citrus & Light Dryer Sheets, I was more than willing to do it.
What They Look Like, Directions for Use & Ingredients
They come in an orange, white, yellow and blue Bounce box, with Febreze clearly marked on the label in blue. I love that my box also had other languages on it besides English (French & Spanish), which I have never noticed on my boxes of Bounce Free before. You can get either the 70 count box or the 105 count box; I have the 105 count.
The sheets themselves are also shaped in that typical Bounce fashion. They are white, tri-fold sheets and look to be the standard length and width. I always liked this type of packaging, because the sheets are not too big or bulky and can fit easily into my storage space. The scent I had is Citrus & Light, which is a blend of orange, lemon and lime. If you like Febreze, they do have two other choices, Spring & Renewal and Meadows & Rain.
As for directions for use, it is really very easy. Take a sheet out of the box, throw it in with your laundry and then start the load. Not a problem. Most standard sized loads only require one sheet, but there is a recommendation on the box that you use 2 sheets for extra large/bulky loads. Basically, that is generally what my loads are, so I tend to use 2 sheets most of the time. They also recommend that you do not use the sheets for very small loads or single items. Should your items end up with spots, just rub it with soap and rewash in warm. I have never experienced this problem, so I cannot comment on it. Another tidbit I picked up through some online research at freshapproach.com and it is also listed on the box is this: Bounce is not for use on children's sleepwear or other garments labeled as flame resistant as it may reduce flame resistance. Keep Bounce out of reach of toddlers and pets to avoid accidental ingestion. Important to know for those of us with pets, and those of you with children.
There is not a long ingredients list, just biodegradable cationic softeners and perfume.
Cost & Availability
Let me start by saying that Bounce is everywhere, and it seems that the Bounce with Febreze products also seem to be storming the shelves of the grocery stores. I found them at Stop & Shop, and you can also find them at various online stores (drugstore.com, etc.) The cost is not horrible, and will run you around $4 a box (depending on what size box you buy and where you buy it).
My Experience
We do laundry quite a few times a week, mostly because of me. I just go through clothes quickly. I am surprised to say that my experience was disappointing. This new Bounce product had all the same benefits of my usual Bounce Free (meaning, it didnt fall apart in the dryer, my clothes were nice and fluffy with no static cling), but the only thing that seems different, the added scent, did nothing for me.
When I received the product in the mail, my first reaction was a negative one, because the scent was SO strong. Before I even opened the package, I could smell the scent. It was not a bad scent, just too strong and overpowering, so much so that it was making me sick to my stomach. Even my husband commented on how strong the smell was. I was a bit concerned that my clothes would smell this much.
I finally decided to try it out, and was disappointed to find that my clothes hardly smelled at all! In fact, I could not tell the difference between what clothes were dried using this product and which ones were dried using Bounce Free.
What is strange is, I wore a sweater today that I washed with Bounce Citrus & Light. When I first washed it, I could not smell the scent, but today at work, I could smell it. It definitely has that light, clean smell, but for some reason, the smell just does not say citrus to me.
Overall
I like my Bounce Free better. It was nice to try this product out, but I do not love the scent enough to switch. Also, further research on the internet informed me that the Febreze really doesnt do much extra for the wash (like kill germs, etc.); it is mostly for the smell, but if it is just for the scent, I do not need it.
Thanks to all who read/rate.
Heidi
I had the pleasure of receiving this product from a well known PR firm in exchange my honest opinion.
