WaWaWa WOW!!! My poor daughter...Yesterday she went online to purchase a digital camera. Well she definitely did her homework when it came to finding the best price and for that I commend her. The problem is she didn't investigate the company she was doing business with. What a nightmare. WAWA Digital advertised the camera she was looking for at a price lower than any other website and offered overnight shipping for $25. She made the purchase and she expected to receive her camera the next day. Well all she got was a phone call from a kid named Scott who told her if she ordered two more accessories the shipping would be free and that the actual overnight shipping cost was $50. My daughter told him she didn't want to spend $90 on a memory card or any other overpriced extras, but since she wanted the camera right away, she agreed to the $50 dollar shipping charge. Then she asked if she could expect to get the camera today since she ordered it yesterday and was paying the overnight charge. He said to her "are you stupid"? Of course you won't get it today. Then yelled down at her for a minute or two before telling her that since she didn’t want to order the accessories he was canceling her order and hung up on her. When my daughter told me all of this I was upset at her for not investigating the legitimacy of WAWA before making the purchase. I came online with her and punched in the name that showed her the many many negative reviews and explained it takes only seconds to find out these guys are CROOKS!!! She has canceled her credit card and learned a valuable lesson in the meantime. Myself on the other hand, I'm not quite done with these jerks and will make it my mission for the next several weeks to make things rather uncomfortable for them. They messed with the wrong daughter this time. I have several things in mind and can be very cruel in my vengeance. Aside from reporting this to the better business bureau any other ideas would be appreciated. These guys need to be shut down...or at least tortured a bit.
