| barryjeff's Full Review: Canon CanoScan 8400F Film Scanner (35 mm), Flatbed... |
I purchased the Canon 8400F after buying an HP ScanJet 4890 and then returning it in disappointment. The Canon turned out to be everything I had hoped the HP would be and then some. Although I haven't explored all of the 8400F's capabilities, I have found it to be excellent in basic document copying and picture reproduction and touch-up.
This scanner comes with excellent controlling and editing software that allows a rich suite of editing features such as scratch and red-eye removal; color, brightness, and contrast correction; sharpening; and many other capabilities.
