Don't bother calling if you're not going to order accessories because you won't get what you ordered. It is my very strong belief that Wawa is packing this review system with phony positive reviews (they probably generate five positives every time they get a negative). My favorite phony reviews are the ones that stress the fact that Wawa is NOT a bait-and-switch operation. Have you ever written a review in which you noted the ABSENCE of bait-and-switch tactics? Me neither. Sounds like the kind of thing only a bait-and-switch operation would write in a phony review. Read the negative reviews and you'll hear the same story over and over: it starts when you call to "confirm" your internet order. The confirmation process consists of a very aggressive sales pitch in which you're offered vastly overpriced accessories. If you fail to order accessories the item you're ordering suddenly becomes unavailable. The fact that it says "in stock" next to the item doesn't have anything to do with it. In my case the guy actually told me what day I'd receive the camera until I canceled my accessory order. The next day I called back to check on the order status and the whole thing had been canceled. Couldn't have made it clearer. Buy expensive accessories: get your camera Wednesday. Don't buy accessories: your order gets canceled. The other notable aspect of this experience was the verbal abuse I received from Wawa's "customer service" person. Unreal. The guy I spoke to should probably see a psychiatrist and should definitely not have a job talking to customers on the phone. Funny thing is I got the impression this maniac was the BOSS!! Do yourself a favor and steer clear of Wawa. E-pinions should screen reviews so merchants can't stack them. I have no doubt that my review will generate five glowing reviews packed with semi-literate phrases like "I not have to buy accessories," and "Wawa definitely not cancels my order." If you don't believe me, scroll down and read the same exact story from 10 other people and then buy your gear from a respectable merchant.
