Pros: It is easily hidden, no worry about plugging it in. Reliable.
Cons: Only three fragrances available. No way to smell the fragrance before buying.
The Bottom Line: I like the Glade Wisp and I would like it better if there were more fragrances available.

| disartain's Full Review: Glade Wisp Air Freshener All Scents |
There are so many air fresheners in the store and advertised on TV that you can just about have your pick.
I was looking for two and couldnt seem to find either in the stores, there were sold out or didnt sale them I told my husband what I was looking for and sure enough he brought both of them home for me to try.
One that he bought was the Glade Wisp he opened it, set it up, and bought it to me as a surprise. Whoopee just what every girl wants {just kidding honey}.
The Glade Wisp is small and unobtrusive with no sound at all, I checked it twice to make sure it was even working, it was.
The scent that came with it was Mystical Garden it is a soft scent and not over powering at all. The container that the scent goes into is white with a little control on the front of it with five adjustments. The fragrance bottle that fits into the holder looks to be about 30cc.
How it works
I am not a technical person but there is supposed to be a microchip inside that measure the scent out at certain intervals and it takes an AA alkaline battery. The adjustments are from one to five levels and I usually use the second line that lets me smell the fragrance and puffs every so often. For the highest setting it puffs every nine seconds according to the Glade web site and thirty six seconds at the lowest setting. {No, I havent sat with a timer to test out if they are correct I am not that bored yet, :}
Pros
It can go anywhere and does in my house. I move it to different areas frequently. I intend to buy a few more with the same scent to put in different parts of the house that way I dont have to move it from one room to another.
It doesnt go into a wall socket and needs no electricity to work. I like this because I am bad about forgetting to check and make sure the oil is not empty.
You literally cannot see the puff that it expels unless you are right over it and looking for it otherwise, noone will know that it exists.
The Glad Wisp oil is supposed to last about 60 days depending on the way you have it adjusted.
An important pro for me is that I can sit it up on a high shelf away form small hands reaching for the container.
Another very personal pro is that if my mother cant see it she doesnt complain that she is allergic, Shhh, dont tell her.
Cons
It is supposed to be kept on a level area away from fire and flame. It is oil based and flammable.
It is an eye irritant and the box says to wash immediately with running water to flush if it accidentally gets into eyes.
You have to change batteries but I have a feeling that it wont be often since the wisp doesnt run full time, only at intervals.
It only comes in three fragrances at this time, if they have added more I havent seen them.
The only other con is one I have about many products. There is no way to smell the fragrance before you buy. I have allergies and cant tolerate certain overpowering scents especially flowery or perfumery smells. I tend to stick with vanillas and cinnamons etc and this comes in none of those odors. I wish they would develop someway of smelling a product before buying, like they do prefumes.
I am pleased with it but right now, I am testing it against another I will review soon. That is the Oust Fan. I want to use both of these in different areas and see, which I think, is better.
At this time, I would recommend this to anyone. It is not overpowering and easily set somewhere so no one knows its there if that is your preference. It is pretty enough to be left out in the open if you like doing that.
There are always precautions with every product and this is not exception. Of course, you know to keep out of the reach of animals, birds, and especially children. There are directions for poison control in case it is accidentally swallowed.
Eventually in my opinion these will completely outdate the plug-in. For any information that you would like to see you can visit the web site. http://www.glade.com. SC Johnson makes the Glade Wisp. The refills are readily available.
Thank you for reading
