Avoid like the plague & herpes rolled into one!
I took a chance, figured that a business couldn't be all THAT bad as the smart folks here were saying. So I bought a Minolta Z1 online, said it was in stock. They emailed then called me 5 days later and wanted me to buy several extras, as others have said.
I said no to all of them, guy says, "Hang on, getting your NEW confirmation number," then comes back and says I am being put thru to the shipping dept. They come on the line, and ask me what I want. I said I was transferred to them, perhaps to confirm shipping. "Of what?" A digital camera, duh! "Digital camera I ordered a week ago." "Which one?" Ever hear of computers, billing processes, etc??? No... "Minolta Dimage Z1." Holds the phone away from his mouth and yells at someone across the room, "Hey Stan! We got any Minoltas?" Pause. "Nope, none in stock, but we can offer you..."
I cut him off. "No thanks, I heard you guys were ripoffs, guess they were right. Cancel my order, good bye."
Absolutely the worst! Never again will I doubt the wisdom put out here on Epinions.
