HP Pavillion 8250

At the time that we got my HP Pavillion 8250, it was one of the top contenders in the computer market. Having owned it for 2 years now, it still performs beautifully and has caused us no major heartaches. The specifications are nothing compared to the new ones on the market today, but they are enough to keep me happy.
The specs are as follows...
48 MB Ram
6.0 Gig Hard Drive
24X CD Rom
56K Modem with V.90 Technology
many Plug n Play components
Soundblaster Sound Card
Polk Audio Speakers w/ surround sound
Multimedia Keyboard with buttons for one-touch internet connection and others that you specify what they are used for.
Since we have had this computer, the modem is the only piece of hardware that has needed to be replaced. This has been one of the most reliable computers that we have owned. Though it may be considered a dinosaur to most people, I am very happy with our purchase. At no time, has anything happened to it that wasn't caused by operator error. I'd definitely recommend Hewlett Packard to anyone looking to purchase their first computer.
