| karentonyjake's Full Review: Zoom/FaxModem 56K Dualmode Internal |
Folks: For almost 2 years, I've been jumping from one ISP to another thinking that their service was horrible. In reality, it was my modem. I replaced my Motorola SM56 Voicemodem with a Zoom Dualmode 56k Faxmodem. What a difference this modem has made. My connections, through my ISP, have been flawless, and I've been running at 42.6 kps. Considering I'm more than 17,000 ft. away from the central switching office, this isn't bad.
The installation of this modem was extremely easy, and their customer support line was extremely helpful. By the way, this modem uses a Lucent Technologies chip set. Between Lucent and 3Com, you can't do better for your money. For the price, this is a winner.
