My wife and I bought this software because it looked like it would make using our personal computers more fun and productive. However, it did anything but that.
I know that many things take some effort ... but this software wasn't worth the effort.
From the beginning installation we knew we were in trouble. The computer we were installing the software on was the lower end machine recommended on the box so we weren't expecting the optimal experience.
The software installed after we cleared enough HD space (it requires 250MB of space minimum). After installing, we followed the instructions and went through the various training plans to "train" the software. This proved to be an unpleasent and extremely boring experience. The manual and online materials encourage many trips to the "training" area, however, they made it such a boring and lengthy process that it was difficult to do even one!
After training, we immediately tried to use the software to write a short e-mail. The recognition was at best 40% and was extremely slow. I could type faster (and more reliably than the software!).
We looked briefly at the rest of the package. It installed several software programs which only served to fill up the HD, and proved of little to no value.
After the negative experience on the slow machine, we uninstalled it and tried it on much faster machine (500mhz). Unfortunately, although the recognition speed seemed slightly better, the software still didn't make the grade.
In summary: don't buy this unless you have already used it elsewhere and are happy with it.
We attempted to return the software, but have still not been able to do so.
