| Pookie5395's Full Review: Andrews, V C |
V.C. Andrews, in my opinion, was one of the best writers around. Her books are captivating, and once you start them, you cannot put them down. Her "Flowers in the Attic" series was one of the best. She makes you feel like you were the one experiencing what was going on. I've read her books over and over, and I still find new twists in her writings. She goes into great detail and depth about the characters and their backgrounds, but not in one book - her books are serial and you have to read the entire series to get the most out of the books. The plots are just unbelievable enough to keep your interest - they aren't these cheesy too-far-fetched plots. Her books are definitely not for children, due to the adult themes involved in them. Anyone who is an avid reader and like suspense-filled books should definitely check her out!
