Pros: It IS a Lexus (without "L") - Luxurious, quiet, smooth, ergonomic, and practical.
- . Cons: It's still a Toyota - Little driving excitement.
Got our Sienna two weeks ago, put eight hundred some miles and we are very happy with the car so far. The purchase was easy - Rang up the Costco auto program in the morning, spoke with a participating dealer the next hour, and drove it home in the ...
When we found out we were expecting triplets, we took our 15 month old daughter and started minivan shopping. We knew what features we wanted: lots of cargo space, all-wheel drive, dual sliding passenger doors and fold-to-store rear seats. I really ...
Pros: AWD, fold flat rear seat, Cons: run flat tires, no spare, over gadgetized things that break
August 2004, we moved to Truckee. I had a Honda Odyssey I loved but needed 4x4 or AWD for the snow we get here. That left either the Toyota Sienna or a Chrysler product since I still wanted a mini van. We went with the Toyota because of Chrysler's ...
Pros: safety features, toyota quality, many options Cons: none
A Peaceful Journey Through the Sienna Awaits You . Id like to introduce to you the minivan of all minivans, one whose style does not neglect comfort, whose capabilities do not sacrifice safety, and whose name displays total quality the ...
Pros: Features, drivetrain smoothness, safety features, interior space and flexibility, turning radius Cons: No spare tire, minivan styling, complicated DVD system
After growing tired of loading and unloading two small children, strollers, diaper bags etc. in and out of a sedan, my wife and I started looking at larger vehicles. Since we didn't have a need to tow anything substantial, we quickly ruled out large ...
Pros: Convenient, comfortable, great handling w/AWD, great for long trips. Great cargo capacity. Cons: Expensive tires, hard to parallel park, factory sound system is lame.
I bought my '04 Sienna XLE in December of "03. I put 30,000 miles on it in one year. I love this car. Problems: The third row seat got stuck in the floor, one seat belt didn't retract properly. Not bad for a first-year model. Convenience: It has ...
Pros: For a minivan, it is attractive. Reliable. Lots of features. Cons: Expensive. Doesn't have the Stow and Go seats like the Town and Country.
I have always owned a Jeep until now. My husband and I are expecting our first baby and found the Jeep I owned to be a little cramped for both of us, a new baby, baby accessories, my live-in mother and our golden retriever to fit in comfortably. We ...
Pros: GPS, DVD, HID, electric doors/hatch, fuel economy, comfort, Toyota reputation Cons: Annoying dash rattle.
With 8200 miles on the clock and after having just returned from a 2500 mile trip, I'm still very pleased with this minivan. Power is adequate but not impressive. But it's a minivan, not a sports car. The most useful feature has been the GPS ...
Pros: Good Styling, Adequate performance, good rear seats Cons: Poor handling in the snow. No snow tires on market to work with this vehicle.
The reviews that I have read in the mainstream press are accurate this is a good vehicle. I purchased mine in Sept 2003, currently I have over 4K miles on it. Items to consider: In the AWD model, the 2nd row seat can only be two passenger, not 3, ...
Pros: Vehicle fits nice, good mileage Cons: Lag in fast acceleration from stopped or low speed conditions. Poor laser cruise control tuning.
Having mixed emotions moving from our 2001 Tahoe to the 2004 Sienna XLE AWD. We are snowbirds traveling between northern and southwestern states and as such spend a lot of time riding. The Tahoe rode softer and felt heaver while the Sienna rides stiffer ...

We were looking for another FULL-TIME AWD vehicle (in addition to RAV4 AWD) offering safety, comfort and convenience and have narrowed down to Subaru Outback Wagon, Toyota Highlander 4WD & Sienna AWD. While being seriously set on Subaru, we decided to ...
Pros: Luxurious, relaxing ride for a minivan. Cons: Battery saving feature stated in manual does not apply to side doors and tailgate.
I did months of research on every single minivan and finally settled on the 2004 Toyota Sienna XLE. Growing up with family members owning Toyotas/Lexus most of my adult life, I am accustomed to Toyota's reputation for attention to detail, quality control ...
Run Flat Tires and no spare makes this van a LEMON by tahoetahoe ,Oct 10 '06
Pros: Lots of room. Cons: Run flat tires don't last over 15,000 miles.
I'm very disappointed in this vehicle. I have just over 34,000 miles on the van and already I've replaced 9 tires. Replacement tires must be special ordered and take several days to arrive. If you ever get a flat on one tire you cannot have it repaired and you must replace all four tires ($1,300). I live at Lake Tahoe and I don't like the way the van handles in snow (I have an AWD). The vehicle is too wide and difficult to fit in my garage. This is my first and LAST Toyota. They really screwed-up on this one.
Pros: Comfortable,Plenty of Space,Fast,Good MPG,Gadgets,Parking Sensors,Laser Cruise Control,EVERYTHING Cons: We only have 1 !
We recently traded in my 06 Honda Civic for the Sienna as we have a baby on the way! We were quite frankly amazed at the comfort and wonderfully smooth drive for such a big vehicle.
Its so easy to change the seating config and the use of space is very clever indeed. We got the XLE Limited and I noticed some reviews complain about the center console etc, if you are thinking of getting the Sienna we highly recommend you pay the extra for the XLE Limited because they havent cheaped out on anything! The only thing is the passenger seat isnt powered but other than that this will do everything except steer! We even have the laser controlled cruise control which is fantastic for long drives so you dont have to keep adjusting the speed it allows for cars in front of you.
It has parking sensors all around which is great if you are not used to a bigger vehicle.
We looked at ALL the other mini vans and this was the only one that had everything we wanted. I hope you will be as happy with your purchase as we were!
