I purchased my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Columbia Edition on December 31st, 2004. Needless to say I got a great deal because of the end of the year. I purchased the vehicle as what the dealership calls "brand new" with 43 miles on it. From the day I ...

I went in to my purchase of a new 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo (2WD) looking for a 2003, and the dealer just happened to have this one on the lot and wanted to move it quickly. Though I've never driven a Jeep before, I'm happy I bought what I did. ...
Pros: Outstanding vehicle with great service and few needs for replacement parts or servicing required. Cons: Need a place for my garage door opener.
This year I decided after having driven 5 Jeeps for over 15 years, it was time for a change. I bought a small Volvo wagon and drove it for 9 weeks. At the end of the 9th week, I drove that Volvo into a dealership and drove out with my 6th Jeep Grand ...
Since I am 6'7" tall, I don't really get to go car shopping. I get to "try on" cars! My previous car was a Ford Escape - believe it or not, I fit quite well. It was time for my wife to get an updated car, and she liked my Ford Escape so I gave that to ...
Pros: Fit and finish. 4.7 V8 is smooth and powerful. Comfortable and luxurious. Cons: Some wind noise on occasion while cruising at highway speeds, but very rare.
The 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee is an excellent SUV in many aspects. Although it maybe showing its age here and there, it's still a very capable player in today's SUV market. And with a new 2005 model on the way, the 2004's are loaded with factory rebates ...
Pros: Off road capability, looks, power Cons: maintinence costs
We bought our jeep in 2003 for the 2004 model year and so far have put about 25k on it. Our model has the 4.7 ltr V-8, so this review will entail the details about that engine and the Limited model. Handling- This jeep does very well, it handles ...

Pros: Looks good, roomy Cons: POORLY BUILT, very unreliable, busy ride, bad on gas to boot
we bought this vehicle thinking that the Jeep Grand Cherokee limited would be our dream. Well its been our nightmare since picking it up in November from Warnock in East Hanover, NJ. We bought an 8 Cylinder Grand Cherokee Limited with all the bells and whistles. This vehicle has been in for transmission problems 3 times, brakes twice already (they had to replace the rotors), replacement of shocks, and front end problems. I cant emphasize enough how much trouble we have had. We now are looking to trade this truck in for something that wont be a headache. My wife and I cant believe how poorly built this truck is. Service fixes one problem and then another arises. Do yourself a favor and pass on this piece of garbage.
