I am the proud owner of a Kawasaki Vulcan 750, 2000. I have saved for a Vulcan motorcycle ever since I fell in love with one a few years ago, that my ex-boyfriend had.
I picked this baby up for $5300 cash and it is the new love of my life, and only one for that matter. I am living single and free and riding this beauty like the wind.
What is so great about the Vulcan? Well for starters, it has a four stroke V-twin engine with a 5 speed transmission. The transmission also has a Kawasaki exclusive "positive neutral finder" which in essence allows me to lift a lever and switch from first to neutral when coming to a stop.
The 5 speed tranny provides in assisting with acceleration on the highway. Zoom, I'm off in a flash with ease in shifting gears and feel no vibration from the engine at speeds as high as 85mph. I don't feel any of the usual vibration you get from usual bikes in your hands. Just that wonderful throbbing sound humming from my engine!
My bike has dual front disc brakes and I swear this baby could stop on a dime. This bike was made for cruisin' and it is as smooth of a ride that you could hope for.
It has a nifty little turn signal off button, and a very complimentary instrument panel. The seats are just dreamy, with a low seat height level and its gentle curve; it provides for a wonderfully relaxed ride in ever so much comfort.
This bike screams stylin' with it's bad lookin' chrome accents and sleek body frame! This bike is truly a dream come true for me and well worth the sockin' away I have done for the past two years.
The next thing I am going to do is take this baby to the mountains, I can't wait. I have ridden Harleys, very nice-Hondas, okay for for starters, Yamahas fair; but none compare to my Vulcan.
I would recommend this bike to those ready for a real cruiser, and those who desire great handling and an easy maintenance bike. This one is an overall sound investment, and for the guys a great impression on the ladies.
As for me, I have had the guys begging non-stop to let them take her for a ride. Nope, but if they are real cute, I let them hop on the back for a quick spin. A dream come true for me, and maybe it could be for you.
