Pros: Lightweight. Simple. Cons: Not the quality expected. Upgrade earbuds.
The iPod Shuffle is very basic even the ear buds. Sound from the Shuffle earbuds is only so-so and not much to get excited about especially if you love your bass. I upgraded to a pair of Sony Fontopia earbuds because the ones from Apple for the Shuffle ...

Pros: I can return it Cons: Everything else!
My first Apple was a IIe; for you kids, that was before the Macintosh came out in 1984. So, you are hearing this from a loyal Apple customer. I was going to buy a real iPod, but the fact that a battery problem really turned me off. I don't think ...

Pros: inexpensive, small, light, easy to use
Cons: few choices, can't set playlist or know what's coming next, limited storage
The iPod Shuffle is sort of the Yugo of the iPod kingdom. It's pared down to its basic functions for the user who doesn't need bells and whistles (or readouts, as the case may be). I got my husband the iPod to use while he commutes to work. He has a ...

Pros: light, simple, somewhat affordable, it's hip!, direct USB connectivity, extra storage device, sound quality. Cons: THE ON/OFF SWITCH, battery-life, the earphones (I don't really care though).
I think this is a great mp3 player, if you only want it for limited uses. Of course, if you want to download tons of music and what not -- this is not the player to buy. That being said, it's still a good value. If you're like me and want a flash ...

Pros: Small size, seamless integration with iTunes for Windows, and Apple-cute. Cons: A tad expensive and hard to find the case that will perfectly meet my needs.
I have found the 1GB Shuffle to be a superb replacement for my old, unsupported, brick-like MP3 player (which I didn't carry everywhere largely because of its size and weight) as well as my 256MB USB flash drive (which I used to carry with me ...

Pros: tiny, user friendly, great for running. Cons: None -- but I'm not a techie person.
I am a new runner. I have just started a running program that I found on the web called "Couch to 5k" training, for people who haven't exercised in like 4 years since having kids and are now really overweight. Ahem. I wanted to listen to my music and not ...

Pros: Affordable, easy to use, clips on anywhere Cons: A pain as a storage drive, almost too small
I received my second generation iPod Shuffle as a gift. I already have a 4th generation 20GB iPod, so I wasn't too excited about getting another one, expecially one with no screen and such little capacity. Surprisingly, I love it and use it more than ...

Pros: size & simplicity - perfect for sports Cons: possible defective design - but fantastic & fast warranty response
I have and use the 40GB iPod, the Nano and the Shuffle. All work flawlessly each for their own purpose. The 40GB is perfect for taking my whole music library to another house instead of having to buy duplicate CD's, etc. The Nano is perfect for ...

Pros: the size is wonderful, just enough songs for me, sound is wonderful Cons: ear buds, can not get used to them, but nothing on the Ipod itself
I am a 46 year old mom whose two teenage daughters both have Ipods. For Christmas last year the girls bought me this "toy". I was wondering how do you transfer 240 songs onto this little bitty thing. Amazing - is all I can say. I have downloaded songs ...

Pros: Compact and fits snugly on pocket or shirt sleeve. Cons: Uncomfortable earbuds and easy to accidently hit the buttons while moving.
I recently received The second generation iPod shuffle as a gift for Christmas. The iPod is slightly bigger than a dollar coin with a stainless steel finish. The ipod shuffle has a clip so the person can attach it to his or her pocket or shirt sleeve ...

Pros: iPod Shuffle- great size, variety of colors. Cons: However, it doesn't have enough memory for me.
When I think of music, I always think of iPod. When I think of iPod, I think of music. The iPod shuffle is great product. I bought one for me a year ago. I have purchased my iPod online, therefore I had my name written on the back of it. Like my jazz ...

Pros: Perfect for active folks - stays clipped on during vigorous activity. Cons: No charger is included.
After owning the first generation iPod shuffle (the one that looked like a pack of gum), we grew to like the portability, but didn't like the packaging. It was generally falling out of our pockets or stuck in a holder that limited it's usability. ...

Pros: Small, built-in clip, some thoughtful features, good sound, easy & fast to download to. Cons: Should've bought another for my husband.
UPDATE 1-3-07 After playing with this little player for a while, I've got some details that someone may find useful: ***In shuffle mode, whatever song you are currently playing, you can switch mode to play songs "in order" and the ipod shuffle will ...

Pros: portable, easy to use, 1 gigabyte jump drive Cons: durability, no screen, ear buds, no Podcasts
Overall, the iPod Shuffle is a very good product. I jog a lot, so the Shuffle comes in handy. If you want just a small mp3 player that holds a few hundred songs, the Shuffle does exactly that. The Shuffle also doubles as a jump drive, in case you ...

Pros: Great sound, reliable, perfect size. Cons: iTunes could be a lot better.
I received this iPod as a gift. I wanted a Nano, but was given this Shuffle instead. What a blessing. The Shuffle, despite not having a display, is nearly perfect. The Shuffle is nearly indestructible. It will suffer through rain storms and the ...
