June 16, 2002 was a very nice day. It was a very nice day due to the fact that I was on my way to booking a flight to sunny and beautiful Orlando, Florida! Yes, the palm trees, blue skies (except for the afternoon when there is a big dump of rain due to ...
Through my business we at times have to make business arrangements for "entertainers" and the like. Most recently a gentleman who does work at a Disney attraction was needed for a NY gig. We needed to get him flights to and from Orlando Florida to New Yor ...
I have flown JetBlue a few times now and each time I have booked my ticket using their online site: www.jetblue.com. I have booked several airlines using their online sites and I find that Jetblue is one of the easiest to use. GETTING STARTED The ...
5 years. It's hard to believe that it's been 5 years since JetBlue launched. The CEO of this company is a gentleman named Dave Neeleman and he's the reason why Jetblue is growing and profitable. Before they launched, David and the folks behind this ...
This airline is the best. I began using them one month after 9/11/2001 and have never used another carrier since. The online ticketing couldn't be easier - the prices and incredibly cheap and you get more of a discount for using the online service, ...
The JetBlue website is very straightforward. Other airlines clutter their pages with ads for their programs. Not JetBlue. Everything is on a white background, which for me, is easier on the eyes and less confusing.
When you enter the date you want, you can click buttons to change the date to the previous day or next day. On other websites, you would have to start your search again. Also prices are listed next to their times on one page, so it's easy to compare.
You can also select seats. The best part is that they show you the picture of the plane from the inside. This is the same picture you'll see when checking in at a kiosk. It's very interactive. JetBlue also gives you tips on the side telling you which seats have more leg room. You know exactly what you're paying for.
After purchasing, you can print out a confirmation page which can be e-mailed or faxed to you. Also, JetBlue has a page that shows hotels and car rentals.
All in all, it's a good experience buying JetBlue tickets online. I think it's $5 cheaper each way than buying on the phone, but please double check.
No excuse for a website that chokes on my reservation by ifij775 ,Feb 02 '09
I made it all the way through the check out process on jetblue.com several times, only to be shown an error at the very end: "We are sorry for the inconvenience. There has been a problem with the database. An internal error has occurred, or there may be too many users on the server.". The web page said to try back later. I continued to try back later, but kept getting the same error. I called the customer service line the next day after continuing to get the same error at a different computer. The flight cost more the next day, and I was left paying an extra $30 for the flight.
I sent a complaint about the website, and I wasn't offered a credit or plausible excuse. I was mostly accused of having an older browser that didn't work with their website.
Simple, easy, but too expensive! by davidhunternyc ,Oct 14 '06
I was on the inaugural flight from JFK to Long Beach, Calif. six years ago and from that experience, I was hooked. However, many years later, it's time to update my opinion of JetBlue. I am writing this as of Oct. 06. Recently I went to JetBlue.com and tried to make reservations to go home to visit my family for the holidays. I was looking at Dec.22-30th. Has anyone checked out their pricing lately? On JetBlue's website and over the phone I couldn't find a ticket cheaper than $700.00!
So much for a value oriented air carrier. When I contacted JetBlue about their high prices they kindly and respectfully replied saying because of high fuel prices they were forced to raise their rates. Hmmm...so I looked on websites for other airlines and found a Continental flight to be $468.00. Not only is JetBlue paying for higher fuel prices but they are also making us pay for all their television commercials and advertising. Basically my opinion is that the honeymoon is over and JetBlue is no longer a discount air carrier but a premium air carrier. I am truly disappointed.
